Week 1 of the Free Riverfront Concert Series
(OMAHA, NE - June 8, 2015 )Bridge Beats returns for its third summer of music on the riverfront at the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge Plaza. The series kicks off with Omaha party band, The Confidentials.
The Confidentials have become one of the Midwest’s premier celebration hosts with their unique blend of funk, jazz and reggae. The 10-piece act is known for their funky, soulful, good-natured and spirited live performances. The band plays over 100 dates a year throughout the country, has released five CDs of original music and plays all the covers you’ll love to sing, dance and tap your foot to!
Bridge Beats shows are every other Friday night beginning June 12, and ending September 18 at the base of the pedestrian bridge on the Nebraska riverfront. The family friendly concerts begin at 6:00pm and run until 9:30pm. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair, blanket and a picnic basket – or enjoy food for sale available by La Casa food truck and drinks from Harney Street Tavern.
