The final week of music at Bridge Beats includes soul and blues. Clark & Company opens up the night with their R&B stylings; and Hector Anchondo Band closes it out with a rockin’ blues set on Friday, September 18, 2015.
Hector Anchondo Band is an international, regional and local award-winning blues band from Omaha. These road warriors spend the majority of the year on the road bringing their style of rockin’ blues to the entire country. Hector’s slide guitar is impeccable and his voice has the soulful age of an old timer playing down south. Their live show is addicting and can pull anyone in!
Clark & Company is a band from Omaha formed by triplet siblings. They play original songs that incorporate a host of acoustic sounds and styles—including rhythm & blues, jazz, soul, rock and singer/songwriter. Their songs have received accolades from the Annual International Acoustic Music Awards and have been nominated by the Omaha Entertainment Awards in the R&B/Soul category.
Bridge Beats begins at 6:00pm and runs until 9:30pm. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair, blanket and a picnic basket – or enjoy food for sale available by La Casa food truck and drinks from Harney Street Tavern.
