Taxi Driver Kicks Off 2019 Concert Series - July 12

Bridge beats is a free concert series brought to you by the Omaha Parks and Recreation Department that kicks off this Friday, July 12th. Head on over to the base of the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge from 6-9pm and enjoy the musical styling of one of Omaha’s favorites….Taxi Driver! You can also enjoy delicious food from La Casa, 402 BBQ and La Cabanita Taco Truck as well as shaved ice from New Orleans Sneaux, and drinks from Shucks Fish House and Oyster Bar. We recommend that attendees bring a lawn chair and a blanket for the event!

Taxi Driver is a popular regional variety band from Omaha formed in 1991. Fronted by two female singers, Sarah and Michelle, they provide fun, interactive shows with music that spans every decade from the 50’s to today!

Adults can kick back and enjoy drinks and music while the kids can enjoy activities, giveaways, bubbles, chalk and more! It will be a night to remember!

Bridge Beats shows are every Friday night beginning July 12th through August 16th at the base of the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge on the Nebraskan Riverfront. The family-friendly concert begins at 6pm and runs until 9pm.
