Veteran Rockers at Bridge Beats!

Week 7 of the Free Riverfront Concert Series

Rock cover band Down to Here brings their experienced tunes to the pedestrian bridge this week for Bridge Beats. You may have seen them scheduled around town for the past 15 years, here’s a chance to see them in a beautiful setting by the river and for free! You’re sure to hear a little Tom Petty, Rush, CCR and Cheap Trick; what’s not to love?

Down to Here has been a staple of the Omaha / Midwest music scene since 2001. Starting out as a hard rocking cover band, they quickly evolved into the versatile variety act that they are today covering a wide range of styles and genres including rock, pop, country, dance music, acoustic songs and more.

Bridge Beats shows are every other Friday night beginning June 12, and ending September 18 at the base of the pedestrian bridge on the Nebraska riverfront. The family friendly concerts begin at 6:00pm and run until 9:30pm. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair, blanket and a picnic basket – or enjoy food for sale available by La Casa food truck and drinks from Harney Street Tavern.
